Our Trips

Our salmon trips start in July in the Ocean and as the fish return to the rivers, we follow them into the estuaries.  We run Ocean trips out of Newport and Astoria Oregon.  Our river trips are run in Astoria on the Columbia in August and September.  We then move down to the central coast where we fish the Alsea, Yaquina, and Siletz Rivers in both our jet sled and our drift boat.  Those trips are run from September through October.

Year round, as the ocean allows, we fish the ocean out of Newport for bottom fish.  Ling cod is one of our favorite fish to eat and they are always available.  Come join us to fill the freezer with great tasting fish tacos!

In May and June, as conditions allow, we run halibut trips in the ocean out of Newport, Oregon.  We fish deep water reefs, up to 35 miles offshore.  We are equipped with electric reels which makes bait checks from 500 feet of water a cinch.  Come fish with us to brawl with one of these great tasting fish!

From December through April we offer drift boat steelhead trips on the central Oregon coast.  We primarily fish the Siletz river but will move to the Alsea or Santiam rivers to be where the fish are.  This is a very interactive trip for our clients as you do all the casting and retrieving.

In the fall the coastal crabbing is best.  We offer crabbing trips, and on some of our salmon trips, we will add crab traps as a bonus.  We run these trips from August through November.
